Cloud computing is becoming more and more common in a variety of ways and according to some studies released this week it could be the future of jobs as well. The idea of distributing data and storage across a platform of servers rather than individual PCs benefits technology users significantly and if the predictions are right it could also bring millions of jobs in the coming years.
By 2015 cloud computing is expected to be directly responsible for as many as 2 million jobs which is quite an astonishing feat. Cloud computing is currently being implemented and used quite actively but when it really catches on and becomes mainstream it will likely explode into one of the largest technology industries. Obviously to support this new companies and new jobs are needed to cover any and every piece of the puzzle.
For millions of Americans this is a great future prospect as it means there will be a significant increase in jobs in the next few years. Obviously it is not really a short term increase but the long run is really what is important in most cases. Along with cloud computer experts are expecting the communications market to increase by nearly a million jobs as well. These two technology markets alone will be responsible for a very significant increase in jobs in America and elsewhere in the world in the next few years and that is absolutely great news for everyone.
