Only God knows how these three bear cubs got into a dumpster in the first place, but into one they did, and they couldn’t get out. Their mother was outside the dumpster, sitting there, close. What else could she do?

Then, a couple came with their pick-up truck, a ladder in their boot. One of them reversed the truck towards the dumpster. Mother bear moved around, looking a bit agitated, unsure of what was happening or what these humans approaching meant for her babies.

The truck reversed right up to the dumpster – the woman slides the ladder in, making sure it’s secure, then they drive away. Soon after, one of the cubs rears its head, then the second as their mother approaches the bin. The truck stops some distance away, maybe to make sure that the cubs actually do get out.

By now, the third one’s reared its head.

First one climbs out and walks toward its mother, then the second and third at the same time, hurrying to mama.

Reunited, the four walk off together.
