Can you believe it? Five siblings (the Waldies) all got married on the same day. Yep!

When they all got engaged, there was only a month between each engagement. Whether they planned to get engaged so close together, who knows, but that’s five separate weddings – a lot for any family to prepare for. So they decided to all get married together on the same day. If anything, it most likely saved on costs – plus it’s a very unique thing to do: five siblings getting married on the same day, all celebrating it together.

It was 100 degrees on their wedding day, so you can imagine how hot it was in the various wedding dresses and suits. But love is love and no amount of sun or rain can hamper that.

The wedding reception was in an airport hanger museum. How cool is that?

The street sign pointing to each Mr and Mrs’ area was a really good idea. Creative.

Pin wheels and a popcorn stand at a wedding?! Verrrry cool.

Five flowers were thrown…by the grooms!

And when three of the brides were dancing with their father – that was touching. “Today has been the greatest day I can remember in…ever”, their father smiled.

The flashmob dance at the end looked like fun.

Oh and when it was time to leave the reception, one of the couples left on a bike!

An unusual day, but a very beautiful one by the looks of it.
