Williams was clean and sober now, but hadn’t been able to get a job or a home. He would stand by the road with a sign that said “I have a golden radio voice.” One day, someone stopped and challenged him about the words on his sign.
The passerby filmed Williams showing some of his prior radio skills and uploaded the video to YouTube. Williams’ voice was every bit as golden as he had said on his sign. The video went viral almost immediately.
Soon, others were taking notice of Williams and his golden voice, such as the the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team. They found Williams and asked if he wanted an announcer job and a home to go with the job. The video and his talents were going to finally get him back off the streets.
Today, Williams is a very happy man and is thrilled with the outcome of his trek back to a job and a home after his bout with drugs and alcohol. His “golden voice” was his way out of the streets.
