Malcolm is 80 years young. A human rights activist. Sadly, four years back, he lost his legs due to an insect bite on his toe that escalated to something far worse – gangrene.

He felt the incident had given him a sense of purpose. An activist at heart, helping people still mattered to Malcolm. It’s what he wanted to do. Part of his previous activism involved fundraising to help people. He still wanted to do that.

He came across a skydiving advert which seemed to pique his interest as a way to fundraise/raise awareness. So he called various skydiving establishments, but none would take him.

Despite the challenges he faced being taken on, he eventually got his wish because at 1:53, he’s describing his experience of skydiving. And at 2:05, there’s him skydiving! Bless him.

The bit where he’s smiling at 2:34 is priceless. He looks so content.

He believes everyone should do their best to help out while they’re on this planet and that “anybody can do it. Look at me. I’m doing it”.

He certainly is.
