This week a medical report released shows that the latest trial of an malaria vaccine in development was incredibly successful. Malaria affects millions of people around the world and despite their best efforts scientists and doctors have not yet been able to develop a working and effective vaccine, at least until now. The report is only a preliminary release of the study results but doctors say that this will almost guaranteed become a worldwide vaccine for malaria.
According to experts in the field this preliminary result is incredibly good news because it shows that the science behind this vaccine is in fact working as expected. Doctors are incredibly hopeful that they will make this in to a usable vaccine in the near future and many experts project that it might be ready to public distribution in as little as a year. This is absolutely great news because as it stands today malaria is one of the largest health concerns worldwide.
The World Health Organization reported yesterday that they were remarkably happy with the results. Now that the initial steps have been verified significant funding is expected to conduct follow up studies which will eventually lead to a publicly usable vaccine, now it is only a matter of time before it is completed.
