Smiling Shown to Lower Stress
For a long time researchers and doctors have been working to determine the best and most effective stress relievers available and for a long time they’ve had issues agreeing on exactly what works the best. Today however a medical study has made a very strong link between smiling and stress levels. The good news is that smiling actively reduces heart rate as well as stress levels.
This is absolutely great news for millions of people because smiling is by far the easiest thing you can do and it directly impacts health in a number of ways. Smiling is one of the many things that anyone and everyone can quickly and easily do and even a forced or uncomfortable smile has been shown to have the same affect on humans.
Overall doctors say this is great news because even such a simple act as smiling can have a major impact which means other small changes can likely have an impact as well. More research is being conducted to determine more information about what might have an impact but for now doctors are happy and smiling about just how big of a deal this development is. Keep on smiling because it really will make you feel better, doctors aren’t exactly sure how or why yet but it definitely does have a direct impact on heart rate and stress in all tested patients.
