North Korea. United States. Group Huuuuuug….

StumbleUponShare

This video’s beautiful and funny. What initially seems to be an extremely tense situation in which Kim Jong-un’s about to bomb the US with nuclear weaponry, turns out to be quite the opposite! He bombs the US with love instead!

Obama (and his team) then starts dancing and reciprocates Kim Jong-un’s love bomb with the same heartfelt sentiment.

All manner of beautiful things happen after that. Kim dances – his team hesitate but join in eventually.

The dancing’s silly and funny on both sides :-) .

Then the love spreads – people start sending love using their mobile phones and tablets, across continents, across countries, paying it forward – from the US to Paris, from Paris to Canada – India, Australia, Africa, London and so on, rolling that love energy round.

(p.s.: watch the vid to the very very end)

The video’s courtesy of LovePowerup.com – a free mobile phone/tablet application that enables you to send and receive love to people round the world.

So far it’s had over 110,000 views on YouTube since it was uploaded less than 2 weeks’ ago. That’s a lot of love right there.

U.S. Courts Officially Rule on New Medicare System

Today the United States Supreme Court issued a final decision on what might be this year’s most controversial topic. The new medical care system, often referred to as “Obamacare”, was officially approved today as part of a unanimous decision from the country’s highest court.

This comes as great news to millions of Americans that are currently living without any medical insurance or without enough to adequately cover them in the case of a major emergency. The new medicare system is going to essentially provide some sort of medical assistance to anyone and everyone that is in need which should help substantially in a number of ways.

Of course not everyone is in support of the ruling, but overall most analysts expect it will be a successful new plan. Obamacare as it is being called is expected to begin being implemented sometime soon and over the next few years it will likely reach full coverage around the nation. Medical care will still likely be a little bit complicated but for millions of Americans this is going to be the first and only medical option they have available. Only time will tell how successful and effective the new medicare system is but at this point it is almost guaranteed to be at least some what of an improvement over the sporadic coverage that is offered today.

This week President Obama unveiled his personal list of people that he wanted to recognize for their contributions to science, technology, and innovation. The awards given out yesterday are prestigious and rare to say the least so those that received them are surely glad to have received such incredible recognition.

The awards were specifically given to seven researchers for their various discoveries including new DNA properties, new health and medicine discoveries, optimized research methods, and much more. Five people were also recognized for their amazing inventions which included things such as space craft and aircraft guidance systems, and other advanced inventions. All of the recipients were personally given their awards by President Obama at the official ceremony and dinner, during which he spoke about the many accomplishments and achievements the group had made.

Overall analysts agree with President Obama’s sentiments that the group of scientists truly had made some of the greatest advancements in their respective fields. It is not often that a group of scientists is recognized on a global platform such as this one so it is truly fitting that they were all personally presented their awards by the president himself. Until next year these 12 men and women will be considered America’s top scientists and innovators, many of them are surely hoping to stay in that group in the coming years as well which will hopefully help develop even more advancement in the scientific world.

President Obama Unveils Plan to Employ More Veterans

President Obama announced a new plan today which he hopes will be taken seriously by Congress. The plan is meant to create jobs and employment opportunities for veterans all around the country. President Obama hopes that Congress will seriously consider his idea as it would likely create thousands of jobs which would likely target veterans in particular; the jobs created will simply be government contract jobs and as such many of the veterans are already very skilled in the department they would be hired in.

This is great news for everyone as it not only means more jobs for unemployed veterans but it also means a reduced stress on the welfare and unemployment system. According to President Obama this job plan is necessary because he and others recognize the fact that too many veterans are being abandoned and left without jobs after their service to the country.

No word on exactly when Congress may consider the plan or possibly propose a bill but Obama says he will continue to push the issue. Creating thousands of jobs by offering new government contracts and new military contracts is a simple and effective way to employ thousands of out of work veterans that are already skilled in the fields needed. This so called veteran’s employment benefit plan may be quite a ways off in the future but Obama says he is planning to make it one of his number one priorities as veterans have been one of the most neglected groups nationwide.
