This holiday season Americans have yet another thing to be excited about. Following the busiest shopping days of the year the official report on holiday spending came out and it looks like things are definitely continuing to improve all across the country as consumer confidence rises. Overall consumers are apparently significantly more confident in the economic situation as spending and profits continued to rise this holiday season. The increased spending showed numerous things, primarily that consumers are ready and willing to spend their hard earned money on things that they need or want more frequently than even a year ago.
Dozens of retailers reported significant or at least noticeable increases in sales compared to last year which is always a good sign. Combine that with record consumer optimism and the U.S. economy is primed for even more recovery in the coming months. Overall analysts are incredibly happy with what they’re seeing all across the board and they’re predicting that the U.S. economic situation will continue to recover better than originally predicted and as it does so the worldwide economy will reflect the same results. This is simply amazing news for everyone as it means a stronger and more robust economy for America and the rest of the world in the coming months. The increased strength should help fix a majority of the worldwide economic troubles as well so in nearly every way this is great news.
