Young Man Awakens From Coma Just in Time-- Source:ABC News

This week a young man has been pushed into the spotlight after his miraculous recovery that has shocked his family, the doctors, and the world. Sam Schmid has been in a coma since he suffered brain damage in October and through the past few months he’s been going through significant treatment, unfortunately doctors had deemed him brain dead and the family began to say their final good byes.

As the days passed the family began to prepare themselves for the final end when they would give their son up for organ donation. Just days before this was scheduled to happen the family witnessed what they say can only be considered a miracle. Sam began to show mild signs of life and consciousness which showed he was in fact not brain dead. The family was almost ready to pull the plug on their nearly dead son when he miraculously came to life and was able to control his body and mind once again.

This sort of miraculous recovery is incredibly uncommon and doctors say it is truly amazing to see it happen to a young man such as this. Just a few days after he awoke Sam began to recover rapidly and after a short recovery he is now preparing to head home to his family. This miraculous recovery story is one for the world as it is definitely one of a kind in nearly every way.
