United States Hits 5 Year Jobless Low

United States Hits 5 Year Jobless Low

United States Hits 5 Year Jobless Low

Every month now it seems like the United States unemployment results seem to be bringing good news and this time things are looking even better. According to the data released this week the United States has now reached a 5 year low for unemployment which is surely great news for millions of Americans that are seeing that firsthand. Unemployment became a big problem after the economic downturn and the fact that the level has dropped so dramatically is absolutely a great sign for the economy.

Obviously there are still hundreds of thousands of people searching for jobs but the fact that the number has gone down so dramatically is fantastic. Many analysts say that they’re expecting unemployment to continue dropping and if that is the case then it is only a matter of time before the recession is officially deemed to be over. As a whole this is just one part of a complicated economic situation but the fact that it is showing strong recovery every single month definitely shows that the economy is headed in the right direction at this point. This is great news for everyone around the world, since economic situations are so closely tied together.

Jobless Claims Continue to Fall

Jobless Claims Continue to Fall

Jobless Claims Continue to Fall

This week and for the past 4 weeks the United States has seen a consistent and significant drop in unemployment claims as a whole. This is absolutely great news because unemployment is essentially the primary factor that shows whether the economy is recovering or not and many experts say this is a great sign of what is to come in 2014.

Obviously unemployment claims are not the end all deciding factor for economic growth but as a whole this is great news simply because it means fewer people are struggling to find work. Over the past 5 weeks the country has seen around an 11% drop in unemployment claims which is quite significant according to most experts. As the holiday season approaches many analysts are hopeful that this trend will continue and unemployment will continue to drop for at least another month or two, if this does happen 2014 will likely be a great year in terms of economic recovery.

On top of lower unemployment rates the economy has also seen significant increases in consumer spending, which indicates once again that the recovery is strong and alive. This holiday season is definitely going to be a turning point for the economy and if things continue the way they’re going it’ll be very good news for the world economy as a whole.

U.S. Sees Unemployment Drop Again

U.S. Sees Unemployment Drop Again

U.S. Sees Unemployment Drop Again

This week the United States monthly jobs report was released and it once again brought good news to millions of Americans and hopefully the world. Just as expected, in February 2013 unemployment continued to decline as nearly a quarter million jobs were added. Experts expected to see an increase in jobs but they had not predicted an increase of this many jobs and that performance is expected to help boost the worldwide economy once again.

This is a big deal for a number of reasons, obviously the most direct impact is that hundreds of thousands of people are no longer unemployed, but it means so much more than that. Worldwide economies are continuing to recover and because the United States is so powerful the addition of jobs will affect much of the world in a number of ways.

Experts are hopeful that this steady increase of jobs will once again continue into the next few months, though at this point they do not feel that it is going to grow as quickly as it has been. More jobs are likely to be added but most experts feel that they will not likely be as large as January and February were.

Jobless Claims Fall Yet Again

Jobless Claims Fall Yet Again

Jobless Claims Fall Yet Again

For another month the number of people in America filing for assistance due to unemployment has dropped. This is absolutely great news because it very directly shows that unemployment is beginning to decline and more importantly the economy is beginning to recover. Analysts around the world are hopeful that this is in fact proof and that is definitely great news for everyone.

Worldwide jobless claims and unemployment have also been declining, which does in fact show that America is not the only place the recovery is happening. Analysts say that if things continue to recover at the rate they are now it will likely only take a few years before things return to the state they were in before the recession hit. If this is the case then the entire world will soon be reaping the benefits of the economic recovery and this is absolutely the best news anyone could hope for at this point.

Regardless of how significant this recovery becomes it is still great news that more and more Americans are finally finding jobs. As unemployment drops and the number of people struggling to find work declines it will only be a matter of time before the economic situation as a whole begins to turn around. All in all this is great news and will continue to bring good news for months as the recovery takes place, hopefully it will continue as quickly as most analysts are expecting it to.

U.S. Unemployment Continues to Fall

U.S. Unemployment Continues to Fall

Unemployment has been one of the largest issues facing Americans and while various government programs and projects have tried to resolve the issue nothing seemed to have been working well about a year ago. Fortunately today we have received information that shows, yet again, that unemployment is in fact still declining. This is great news for everyone because in the long run this shows significantly recovery in the entire economy around the country and around the world. Current unemployment rates in the U.S. are at a low for the past 5 years which is absolutely amazing in nearly every way.

During the past year unemployment has been declining them increasing month to month, this was promising but it did not show any solid growth or recovery. Fortunately now we have confirmation of solid recovery now that significant unemployment decline has continued through multiple months in a row. This is great news because obviously more and more people are finding jobs and thus the economic situation around the world will slowly begin to become more confident and stronger.

Analysts and economists agree that this steady decline in unemployment is great for a number of reasons. As long as the unemployment number continues to drop nearly everyone agrees that the economy will continue to recover just as quickly. Amazon Boosts A Troubled Economy in Tennessee

Amazon.com

Internet giant Amazon is hiring 1500 people from Bradley County and Chattanooga Tennessee. The internet retailer settled on the Chattanooga area for two distribution sites and has offered jobs to approximately 1500 locals from Bradley County and Chattanooga. Applicants from several local counties have lined up to apply for the open positions. Construction began in 2010 and Amazon was eager to complete construction to be ready for the holiday season in 2011.

Amazon began a fast track to ramp up the new distribution centers and has received more than 6000 applications to date. Local officials say the hiring effort is the quickest undertaken by a company doing business here. Amazon began taking applications for the bulk of its work force in mid-May.

The new distribution centers in Hamilton and Bradley counties are breathing a new spirit into the area. The centers can help to provide jobs to almost 10 percent of the unemployed workers in those counties. With the economy what it has been nationally, a boost ofapproximately 1500 jobs will give the local economy a shot in the arm. That is a huge relief to the areas local families as well as the economic developmentof the area.

The local Community College is playing a role by being the place for Amazon.com to hold the five week long interview process at Chattanooga State Community College. The college was able to offer additional services such as security and food for which it was compensated by Amazon. Chattanooga State’s plans to offer a complete solution that includes personnel training that will likely begin next year. Chattanooga States’ aim is to offer “a turnkey solution”to businesses.

Amazon is investing about $139 million dollars in both centers and plan to employ 1,600 full time people and as many as 2,000 part timers, which according to Amazon, the first group will begin work this month. This is an incredible boost to the local economy says local leaders. The Bradley County center is scheduled to open immediately and the Chattanooga center soon afterwards.

Amazon has stated that the local support for the project has been very helpful to the company. Amazon has said most of the new hires will start at more than $10 anhour. For permanent employees, Amazon offers variable cash pay for performance and some restricted shares. For Amazon, this means new and excited workers grateful to be employed and for Chattanooga and Bradley County, it means a welcome influx of cash and ancillary revenue.

Jobs Increase Substantially

Jobs Increase Substantially

Jobs Increase Substantially

In times of economic turmoil it is somewhat uncommon to have any sort of good news surface. Fortunately the report on unemployment for March indicates that good things are in fact happening within the economy. More specifically unemployment is declining as more and more jobs are being created by various industries.

According to the U.S. Labor Department approximately 260,000 jobs were added last month alone, which is a significant increase overall. Of course there were hundreds of thousands of jobs eliminated last month as well but in the end the number of new jobs was greater than the number of jobs lost.

Not only was March a very successful month for employers, February was just as good. Two months in a row with substantial job increases has not happened since 2006 and many experts say it could be a sign that the economy is finally beginning to recover.

The U.S. Labor Department and other analysts also agree that the consistent increase in jobs will likely continue for the rest of 2011. What this means is that by the end of the year unemployment will likely decrease by another percentage or two. Currently unemployment is at a 2 year low of 8.8% and by the end of the year it is expected to be even lower. In the coming weeks more announcements about the economic situation are anticipated and overall analysts and economists say they should all carry plenty of good news about the current state of the U.S. economic situation along with the worldwide economic situation.
