Yup! No joke, no lie :).

A ticket machine was installed in a subway station in Moscow. In exchange for completing 30 squats in front of it, commuters were offered a free ticket to travel on the subway.

Some commuters took the machine up on its offer, standing on the blue sticker and doing thirty.

Once done, the machine gave them their free ticket.

At first, people were cautious, which is to be expected. A machine? A machine that wasn’t there before? And offering free travel?

Someone was curious and brave enough to try it first! He does the thirty – the ticket comes out – he kisses it!

Then the next person tries, a teenager. And before you know it, all kinds of commuters are giving it a go and getting their free tickets.

Whether this is a one-off thing is unclear, but it’s a really cool idea for encouraging people to exercise. An interesting way to do it.

For 7 year old Hermione Sutton the Royal Wedding will be a dream come true. She was emailed on the 31^st to confirm that she will receive a ticket to attend.

Hermione lives in Epson Borough and suffers from a genetic disease called Prader Willi syndrome. The disease prevents her from being able to stand or walk for long periods of time.

Hermione is obsessed by anything to do with princesses so the upcoming wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton is a major event for the 7 year old. Hermione has never met the bridal couple but will still be thrilled to be among the millions to watch the young couple say their vows.

It all started when Hermione’s mom Helen while looking for the best place to view the royal wedding ran across an ad for free tickets. The tickets were being given to the handicapped and Helen quickly applied. Almost 2 weeks later she was surprised and thrilled to receive an email saying that Hermione would receive a ticket.

Hermione and her mother are thrilled and plan on making a big day of the royal wedding. The rest of the family is not so thrilled. They are happy for Hermione but intend to spend the day of the wedding doing something else.

Hermione’s father intends to take the rest of the family to Lego Land that day. He says it is the perfect time because the place will be empty.

Of course Hermione and Helen intend to video tape the whole wedding to share with family and friends later.
