Fish Oil Linked to Brain Health
For years now people have been saying that various fish oils are beneficial or healthy for some reason or another. Just this week yet another medical study came out that indicates that certain fish oils are actually even more beneficial than previously expected. In particular the study was focusing on Omega-3 oils and the study showed that consuming the oil regularly can significantly help slow brain aging in patients.
This is absolutely great news because it not only helps keep the brain a little bit younger, it also helps prevent the onset of problems like Alzheimer’s in older patients. Doctors are still studying the findings further but at this point they’re happy to report that there is absolutely a pretty solid link between the oil and the results. The exact amount of Omega-3 oil required to be beneficial is still undetermined but the study is planning to be continued so that doctors can really pinpoint the benefit point. At this time doctors are continuing to recommend Omega-3 oils for patients and they’ll likely continue to do so long after the new findings come out.
This is absolutely another sign of medical advancement that is great news. Only time will tell just how many other benefits Omega-3 oils have but this is definitely a big one.

Oil Prices Approaching Record Drop

The mere speculation of that happening is absolutely great news for billions of people worldwide.
Oil prices declining will not only bring cheaper fuel to everyone, it will also decrease the price of everything else. Because oil is a central use commodity it essentially influences the price of everything which means people will finally be getting some relief at the pump and at the store.
It is only a matter of time before oil prices drop back to the levels they were at before and many analysts are hopeful that prices will fall even lower. Nobody knows just how low oil prices will get but the fact that they’re still dropping and are expected to keep dropping will leave millions of dollars in the pockets of the public.
Oil prices will continue to drive the price of many goods, but as the price of oil drops everything will definitely follow. Hopefully this summer will bring economic relief to millions in a number of ways. Most importantly analysts are hopeful that the price of gas at the pump will drop drastically in the next week or two, depending on just how quickly oil prices continue to dropp.

Fish Oil Linked to Younger Brain Health
Doctors have been saying that fish oil is a healthy and useful supplement for a number of reasons and while many of these reasons have not been medically verified, they are generally considered true. Today however a medical study released showed a very direct link between fish oil consumption and brain aging, apparently for a variety of reasons fish oil helps keep the brain younger and more active in patients.
According to doctors a consistent diet high in fish oil helped keep the brain essentially 2 or more years younger than it should be. This is truly incredible as, according to many, it should help increase memory as well as help reduce risk for various brain disorders later in life. The reasons as to why this is happening are still somewhat unclear and as a result doctors are planning on conducting multiple follow up studies in the coming months. Doctors are also hoping to understand a little bit more about why exactly this is happening so that they can somehow manage to increase the effectiveness through medication. This is truly great news for everyone because it is one of the most significant discoveries for brain health in quite some time; it may be a while before we understand exactly why we are seeing this type of benefit but for now doctors are just happy that it is happening.

Gas Prices Expected to Fall
In an official announcement today the International Energy Agency announced that they will be opening up much of the precious oil reserves for use by the public in the coming months. Thanks to this and other various economic factors the price of gasoline is expected to drop dramatically in many parts of the world.
Immediately after the announcement the cost of a barrel of oil dropped nearly $5 in a very short time period which made many analysts confident that gasoline will follow suit. Worldwide governments have been working to reduce oil and gas costs and it seems that many of the might have finally gotten what they needed to drive gas prices lower.
As always there is no guarantee that the price drop will be passed on to consumers but most analysts agree that consumers should see at least a noticeable decline in gas prices through the next few months. The exact amount of the decline is unpredictable but analysts say it could be anywhere from 10 cents to nearly a dollar in some cases.
This is great news for car owners everywhere as it will mean a much needed break from spending. Analysts hope that this additional spending money will encourage people to buy other things which will once again help boost the economic situation in many private markets though it is still unknown what type of effect this could have. Overall it is good news however because lower gas prices generally indicate economic recovery at last.

Girl Scouts Successfully Improve Baking Process
Just over four years ago two close friends, Madison and Rhiannon, discovered that the Girl Scout cookies they were selling had some negative effects on the environment that nobody else had addressed. The girls found that a large percentage of the palm oil found in Girl Scout cookies came from areas which were turned into palm farms by destroying large sections of natural rainforests.
The girls began a large campaign to try to save the rainforest and the orangutans that call the forests home. Obviously in the process the girls asked Girl Scouts of America for some help and it seems that their four year old endeavor is finally seeing some real progress.
The group responsible for baking the iconic Girl Scout cookies officially announced this month that they will only be purchasing the necessary palm oils from growers that do not and have not contributed to the massive deforestation in Asia.
The program these farmers are part of is called the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil which is determined to reduce the deforestation in Asia by using only natural palm growing facilities. According to many sources this organization is expected to have a major impact on the ecosystems of this region and as a result will make a big impact worldwide. Of course the girls that started the initiative with Girl Scouts are not responsible for the organization though they are responsible for convincing one of the largest supports to join the project to help spread the word.
