Whitehouse Supports Net Neutrality
Net neutrality has been a big headline multiple times in the past few years and despite there being a lot of arguing, no real resolution has ever been reached. Today that argument is once again back in the headlines but this time it is looking like good news. President Obama officially announced today that he and the White House support net neutrality and they will be pushing cable companies to support it as well.
In the past there has been some serious opposition to net neutrality, primarily because it severely hurts cable and internet providers. The fact that the government is starting to push for net neutrality to become a reality is absolutely fantastic news. Net neutrality is pretty much fully supported by the average citizen in both America, and around the world, and this is very likely the first step towards it become real.
Obviously this isn’t the end of the conversation, but it is a great way to get it started again. Net neutrality is all but required if internet prices are going to remain low and speeds high, so now is the time to once again celebrate that there is finally some positive light being shined on the entire industry.

NATO And Russia Planning To Meet
While the entire debacle in Russia and Ukraine is far from good news, there have been a few glimmers of hope from both sides. There have been numerous threats and possible sanctions proposed that would be nothing but bad news for the world, but today both Russia and NATO announced that they are in fact planning a joint meeting so this issue can be resolved peacefully. This is not necessarily good news but many political analysts feel that this is an absolutely huge step in the right direction to bringing this to a peaceful conclusion.
The exact details of the meeting are being kept quiet in order to increase the odds of success, and if things go well everyone is hopeful that this will bring the entire conflict to an end. Things have definitely been escalating in Ukraine recently and this is the best shot the world has at putting it to an end before it really becomes a problem. This meeting is a big sign of good news to come, and hopefully in the next few days word will come out that some sort of peaceful end has been reached so the fighting and turmoil can come to an end.

Civil Rights Defense Bracelets Developed
Around the world civil rights fighters do not necessarily get the same equal treatment they do in America. In the past 5 years there have been dozens of incidents where civil rights protesters were kidnapped or captured by government or rebel groups and that is exactly what the CRD bracelet was designed to prevent.
The bracelets are small, simple, and cheap, and when forcefully removed or manually activated it will automatically report its GPS position back to headquarters. Many activists feel that this type of security device is very important because it is such a small but effective tool to prevent kidnapping and capture. The wristband, called Project Natalia, was created after a 2009 incident where Natalia Estemirova was kidnapped and killed.
Not only are these bracelets expected to be very popular and helpful for civil rights activists around the world; they are also being marketed towards parents wanting to keep their children safe. The same kidnapping protection features apply easily to children that might be at risk and the tracking and detection system would work flawlessly according to many experts. As a whole this simple design is a big breakthrough that could save thousands of lives all around the world by preventing kidnapping and capture of innocent people.
